If Everything Is a Priority, Nothing Is
Determine what matters first

The value of diagnosis is not finding everything that is wrong. It is determining what matters most right now.
Effective business support requires prioritization and sequencing—not simply providing more resources.
The real challenge is not identifying what a business could improve. It is determining what should come first.
Owners can name many legitimate needs: customers, cash flow, margins, marketing, systems, employees, time, technology.
The problem is deciding where limited resources should go FIRST.
Andrew's POV:
Owners have three scarce resources: TIME — MONEY — CAPACITY.
Good strategy is deciding what to do NOW, what to do LATER, and what NOT to do.
Three Lenses:
OWNER — Which issue would create the greatest impact if addressed first?
ADVISOR — Are you giving 15 recommendations or helping identify the 2–3 that matter most?
INSTITUTION — Are resources being assigned based on availability or on what the business actually needs next?
5-Part Priority Test:
IMPACT — How much difference would solving this make?
URGENCY — What happens if we do not address it?
DEPENDENCY — Is something else dependent on solving this first?
READINESS — Is the business capable of addressing it now?
RESOURCES — Do we have the necessary time, money, and people?
What should this business work on FIRST—and why?
